Our MissionWe, as the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, have a duty and responsibilty to go into all the world and Baptise in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and to teach those baptised to observe all that Christ Himself taught. About our ChurchWelcome to Saint John the Evangelist Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church's web site. Over the years we have adopted the fuller liturgical cycle of the Orthodox Church. Our Services are sung or chanted entirely in English. The choir uses English translations of music from the Byzantine and Slavic traditions. In addition to weekly services, we offer a full Lenten and Holy Week cycle of Services also in English. Our parish is a pan-Orthodox Church, our membership includes many traditional Orthodox such as Serbian, Croatian, Russian, Carpatho-Russian, Greek, Syrian, and many converts to Orthodoxy. The Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese is considered to be one of the fastest growing churches in North America. All are welcome to visit and attend any of our services. Give us a call, drop us an e-mail or just stop in and visit. Contact Information and Address. |
